Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Summary: The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer plays a critical role in strengthening programme accountability and effectiveness by supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems. This position ensures that programme activities are tracked against established indicators, performance data is accurately collected and analyzed, and insights are systematically documented to inform decision-making and adaptive management. By driving evidence-based learning and reporting, the M&E Officer contributes directly to improved outcomes for participants and the overall success of the programme. Responsibilities: Support the development and implementation of comprehensive M&E frameworks, tools, and performance indicators across programme activities Collect, verify, and manage programme data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting Conduct field monitoring visits to assess programme progress, implementation quality, and achievement of outcomes for participants Analyze data and contribute to the preparation of reports, dashboards, and learning briefs to support strategic decision-making Document lessons learned, case studies, and success stories to promote programme improvement and organizational learning
