Value Chain Officer

Summary: The Entry Level Value Chain Officer supports the implementation of sustainable agricultural value chain initiatives aimed at strengthening market linkages, enhancing productivity, and increasing the participation of smallholder farmers and other program beneficiaries across targeted agricultural sectors. This role is essential in ensuring that program activities are effectively executed, data-informed decisions are made, and inclusive growth is achieved through coordinated stakeholder engagement. The officer will contribute to monitoring and reporting efforts, help identify opportunities for market integration, and support the documentation of impact and best practices to inform future programming. Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and execution of value chain development activities within program interventions. Collect, organize, and analyze data on value chain actors, market dynamics, and participant engagement. Support the conduct of value chain assessments, market studies, and field monitoring visits. Participate in organizing and facilitating stakeholder meetings, training sessions, and market linkage events. Contribute to the preparation of activity reports, success stories, and lessons learned for internal and external communication.
