Finance Officer(Controlling)

Summary: This role is pivotal in driving financial excellence within an FMCG organization by ensuring accurate financial planning, reporting, and compliance while supporting strategic decision-making. The position oversees budget management, financial performance analysis, and cost control across operations, contributing to operational efficiency and profitability. With a focus on internal controls, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration, the incumbent plays a key role in enhancing financial discipline, optimizing cash flow, and supporting business growth initiatives. The role also emphasizes continuous improvement through digitalization and team development, making it central to the organization’s financial health and long-term success. Responsibilities: Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor budget performance and deliver detailed variance analysis. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax regulations, and internal financial policies. Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audit processes. Monitor production costs and analyze cost variances across FMCG operations. Oversee inventory valuation, stock reconciliations, and cost-of-sales reporting. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support operational efficiency initiatives. Track daily cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for business operations. Support working capital, including receivables and payables performance. Support banking processes and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions. Implement and monitor internal control systems across finance functions. Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions. Ensure proper documentation and authorization of all financial transactions. Conduct financial analyses to support pricing, new product launches, and investment decisions. Review financial KPIs and provide actionable insights to leadership. Partner with supply chain, commercial, and manufacturing teams to drive performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold financial discipline. Guide finance and non-finance teams on cost controls and financial processes. Contribute to finance digitalization and system improvement projects.
